In 2014, the then City Poet Leo Lotterman and City Photographer Aad Meijer decided to work together to describe and depict the romance of their city of Roosendaal. It marked the beginning of a unique collaboration, in which the pair experienced ups and downs together and separately, but remained loyal to each other. Their work has been exhibited, published several times in book form, and is still valuable today, ten years later.
